LEGAL INFORMATION

No finished work will be handed over until account has been paid in full. Payments are due as per the payment terms, regardless of project progress, payments are still due on pre-defined dates. If payment is not received on the dates set out, work may be stopped and deadlines may be affected, it is important that you stick to the payment deadlines if you wish your project to stay on track. It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure adequate time for the payment to reach Northern Output.

Northern Output retains all copyright to every project it under takes, upon completion and account being paid in full the client receives un-restricted use of materials without any copyright or commission to be paid to Northern Output with the exception of photography, details on your copyrights will be outlined in the invoice/quote. Some files are not sent to clients, and kept exclusively with Northern Output and not released. This would be all work files, programming code, additional elements, raw files, etc. Clients are given the final product and that is what you have the right to, all of the additional things that are kept by Northern Output are done so to protect the work we put into the project from being stolen and used for other projects, a lot of time and money has gone into some of the technology that is put into some of the work files and as such we would like to keep them safe from others. This is a fairly standard process for most businesses in the industry and if you need further explanation on this subject please consult your sales representative.

A late payment fee is applied from the bill date when payment has not been received by the set dates as per agreed with the payment options. Late accounts will be charged 2% monthly until paid in full.

$42.50 will be charged each time a cheque is returned from a bank or other financial establishments due to insufficient funds. This charge is billed to offset costs for processing a returned cheque.
